Lutsen was one of the most scenic courses ever, loved it. About 50% gravel and 50% trail a great mix. The trails were a bit wet as expected after the recent rains but I was able to ride everything. Those 29ers really go thru the mud. The lead out with 300 mtn bikers was cool. Had one flat at mile 73, on the buggiest part of the trail. Felt good thru out the race no cramping at all. Finished with a climb up the ski hill.

A long weekend in the saddle.
On Saturday I did the Rossini Rd / Fox farm Rd loop 70 miles 4 hours 45 minutes.
On Sunday did the "Trans Duluth" McQuade safe harbor to Fond Du lac and back. Out along the water front. Climb the abandoned 7 bridges road in Fond Du lac and back along skyline. 60 miles 4 hours 30 minutes.
Monday up to Two Harbors, a loop around town and back on the road bike (first time out on the road bike this year). 50 miles 3hours 30 minutes.
