March Rains

If April showers bring May flowers what do March rains bring? (just a mess). We had 1" of freezing rain on Mon March 23rd. That with the partially frozen ground and the melting snow made quite a mess.

A few images from the 2009 Arrowhead 135. I only made it 35 miles this year. Tough conditions apparently for everybody, times for everyone seemed real slow and a lot of dropouts.

Snowshoe Marathon Jan 17 2009 Temp +10 F.

I am in the middle of this pack somewhere. Ended up in 6th place in 5:24:00. Hardest marathon I ever did.
